However, a "fresh" water description of the great lakes is in a traditional sense NOT literal, that is, NOT salt or brackish water.  Conversely, "fresh" in the literal sense is something the great lakes are NOT but lost after taking them from the Native Americans and Native Canadians whose "True Lives" depended on them, converting the lakes to industrial waist pools. NOT to mention the non indigenous flying fish that were imported to destroy the lakes as the gulf oil spill was orchestrated to destroy the gulf of Mexico as Exon did to Alaska's coastline, to make the inhabitants MORE dependent on manufactured food-like substances. What about 3 mile island? Moreover, to drive motorized water craft instead of paddling canoes day in and day out on discrete waters is as ignorant an excuse for occupation as there is, as stupid as the coast guard that approached my boat last time I was on lake Erie are?
